My school

I will get better about including pics! I have taken lots but I can't get enough internet to be able to post them all!

This looks like it may be the entire school but this is just my block! There are 4 classrooms on each corner and a "wet area" in the middle, like a lobby.

Im sorrry this is the only pic I can upload at the moment. It is taking forever but I will hopefully be able to upload heaps!



Oh yea and if you want a postcard, send me your address in an email or post it as a comment! I plan on sending some out this weekend!

    hey kathleen! this is leah =) school got out at 2 today because of freezing rain and daddy picked me up so i'm here at the store until 6ish. so i'm reading your blog instead of homework! haha

    do they have tabloids and magazines like we do? like on austrailian celebrities? when i was at the dominican motherhouse a couple months ago, one of the sisters was a first-year postulant, an eighteen year old from austrailia, and she said the one thing she missed since entering the convent was fashion. so i was just wondering...

    i hope everything is going well! i'm going to get a username sometime soon so I can follow you. =)

    Anthony wants to know that since you are a day ahead of us. Could you please let him know who wins the Super Bowl Packers Vs Steelers. He and I are on opposite sides and he can't wait to find out if he beat me or not. I think Aunt Diane and Aunt Delores would love this information as well just don't tell their bookie.

    Send us a postcard! Leila, they have "wet" areas in schools here, where the toilets swirl clockwise, too. It's where the kids go before class if they are dirty to clean up and get rid of their "stink."

    Leila -- I asked today but they didnt have an answer...

    LeLe! The magazines that I have seen at the shopping centers here are all about the american celebrities. All of the movies and TV shows that they watch are from the states. But the newest movie here is Despicable Me which tells you how quick they get here (or dont)I have seen some Australian TV shows that Monique watches but mainly she loves Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift and Hannah Montana! The first thing that she asked me when I got here was if I knew Hannah Montana since we are from the same country! But the main celebs I hear lots about are Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe because they are Australian.

    Peter-- not to be rude but does Nth mean North? I think you can just say N....pretty sure Ive told you that before... jk lil bro...loe you

    Ryan! Speaking of the toilets, I was trying to figure out if they do swirl a different way but now I can't remember what it looks like in the states! But one thing I have noticed on all the toilets is that there are two buttons to flush it (not a handle like ours) One button has a half circle to press when you go number one and the other button is a full circle to press when you go number two!

    Ah, the dual-flush toilets! Very, very nice! Yeah, I just did some scientific testing here on my toilet to make sure. It flushes counter clockwise here, not clockwise.

    Ryan -- the toilets don't really swirl here. Its kinda weird but the water just comes down straight...i dont know ill have to try a few other toilets to make sure...

    Ragan, is that your box number? I thought AOII was box #3?! Ill send one to both :) Miss you little NME! Hope CWE spring training isn't getting the best of you!
