Caversham Wildlife Park

Sunday morning my supervisor, John, and his wife, Hazel, took all of us girls to Caversham at Whiteman’s Park. It was beautiful out there and I got to do some really exciting things! First off, I got to feed and pet kangaroos! There were heaps of tame kangaroos and they are not afraid of people at all! There were also albino kangaroos and they looked pretty cool too! Then we got to see a sheep get sheared. I got it all on video so I will have to show y’all when I get back. After that we went to see the koalas and got pics with them and got to pet them as well! Then we met a wombat named Neil and got to take a pic and pet him as well! It was really cool.

I only have two more weekends left and I have pretty much seen all that I want to and I am so happy that I have been able to do so much on the weekends. We haven’t set anything in stone for next weekend but there are two more things I want to do before I leave and that is to go to the Perth Zoo and also to the Casino. I hope we are able to do both of those things next Saturday! The following weekend I have made plans to go with Kerri-Anne’s family down south for the Farm field day. Looking forward to that and then I will be home!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to April! I got more postcards so please send me your address if I haven’t mailed you a card yet! You can write it on here or send me an email keb0006@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hugs and kisses to everyone!
